Prosecutor's Office 

Welcome to the Newton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The Prosecuting Attorney's staff includes three Attorneys, an Investigator, an administrative Assistant, two full-time child support enforcement Caseworkers and a file clerk. Jeffrey Drinski was elected Prosecuting Attorney in 2010 and is responsible for prosecuting all traffic tickets and criminal offenses that occur within the 79th Judicial Circuit, which encompasses Newton County, Indiana. Additionally, the Prosecuting Attorney is tasked with providing child support enforcement in the county courts.

Our office is located at 310 East Dunlap St., Kentland, Indiana. Office hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with exceptions for County recognized holidays.
